Bon j'ai regardé sur le forum musique et j'ai vu qu'il n'y avait pas ce groupe !

C'est en 1992 que le bataillon montréalais Kataklysm se forme, cherchant à créer un nouveau style de métal extrême baptisé «Northern Hyperblast». Un amalgame de lyrisme et de mysticisme s'intègre à un «death metal technique» très rapide où la basse distorsionnée côtoie des «blast beats» intenses à la batterie, enrobés de «riffs» de guitare tout aussi puissants que mélodiques.
